Charming Victorian buckle ring in 22k gold and made in the year 1855, as indicated by Birmingham hallmarks to the inner band. The Victorians loved a buckle, and back then it symbolised eternity, fidelity, strength and protection as the symbol curves around and threads back onto itself, creating an eternal loop. This example is slim, with finely worked buckle frame and prong.
